If you once go to doctor and he discovered that you have high blood pressure, or as they name it in science “Hypertension”.

This condition can stay with you for long time, so you must immediately lower your blood pressure because it could lead to heart attacking or stroke. And one of the best ways to lower your blood pressure is to do some exercise.

Most of studies these days find that most aerobic exercises that keep large muscles in use for long period like “workouts brisk wallking” is good way for lowering blood pressure but it take several months. A fact from the “National Institutes of Health conference” says they found that aerobic exercise reduces blood pressure in people who have hypertension by about 11 points off the top number and 9 points off the bottom number and. That for sure is enough to lower blood pressure.

Every one has his specific needs upon how high is his or her blood pressure is, so before doing any exercise, you have to talk to your doctor, they may want to monitor your program, add changes or add some type of drugs.

Some thing to take note of is  that any exercise in beginning leads to a change in the flow of blood to muscles and that in itself can cause a raise in blood pressure but that effect is temporary, so dont be afraid. People who have very high blood pressure may find their doctor will prescribe some drugs before they start exercising.

So, after learning this, you may want to know, or you may be wondering what is the best exercise to do to lower your blood pressure?

For sure the one that can help you the most In finding the best type of exercise is your doctor who knows exactly what’s going on with you, But no doctors will say that walking is not good for all cases. All the best studies show that walking is effective in lowering blood pressure than any other type of hard aerobics exercises, but take it slow. Don’t begin with high distances, begin with little and increase it from time to time. And make it a daily exercise. You can also try jogging, stationary or outdoor bicycling, swimming, rowing, using a stair-stepper, or low-impact aerobics, any of them can work but do it a your own pace.

You may also chose to do exercises for upper part of body. Check with your doctor first, but yeah, you can use it in lowering your blood pressure as well. But keep in mind that any hard exercises may lead to raising your blood pressure to a dangerous level when lifting  heavy weights.

How can exercise help to manage high blood pressure?

High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It is often referred to as the “silent killer” because there are usually no symptoms. However, if left untreated, it can lead to serious health problems like stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. Fortunately, there are ways to manage high blood pressure, and one very effective method is through exercise.

Regular exercise has been found to lower blood pressure effectively by improving heart function, reducing stress, and promoting weight loss. However, not all types of exercise have the same effect on blood pressure. Here are some of the best exercises to lower blood pressure.

1. Walking

Walking is one of the most accessible and effective exercises for people looking to reduce their blood pressure. It is a low-impact exercise that can be done anywhere, anytime. Walking for just 30 minutes a day can significantly lower blood pressure.

2. Cycling

Cycling is another low-impact exercise that can be an excellent way to reduce blood pressure. Like walking, cycling can be done both indoors on a stationary bike or outdoors on a real bicycle. Cycling for just 30 minutes a day can aid in reducing blood pressure.

3. Swimming

Swimming is an excellent way to exercise as it involves the whole body and is low-impact. It is a particularly useful exercise for those who suffer from joint conditions. It can be done in any aquatic environment like a pool, a lake, or a sea. Swimming for 30 minutes a day can help lower blood pressure.

4. Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice that involves breathing exercises, meditation, and physical postures. Studies have found that doing yoga regularly can reduce blood pressure by improving heart function, reducing stress levels, and promoting relaxation. Practicing yoga for just 15-20 minutes a day can lower blood pressure.

5. Strength training

Strength training, also known as resistance training, is an exercise that involves using weights or resistance bands to build strength and muscle. It can also help reduce blood pressure. Strength training for just 15-20 minutes twice a week can significantly lower blood pressure.

In conclusion, regular exercise is a great way to lower blood pressure. However, it is essential to choose the right type of exercise and consult with a doctor. People with high blood pressure should start with low-intensity exercise and gradually increase the intensity and duration. With regular exercise, people can lower their blood pressure, improve overall health, and avoid serious health problems in the future.
