I’ve experienced many different forms of breathwork before from the Wim Hof Method to heart-opening breath and all sorts of yogic pranayama techniques.

As I’ve begun creating more content about breathwork and alternative healing modalities and ancient wisdom, I receive a lot of messages and comments from people saying how much they lived somewhere in the world where there was access to more of this type of stuff.

So, when I discovered a form of breathwork that can be done online, I knew I needed to try it out so that I could see it might be something for people all over the world to access this modality that has had such a profound impact on my life and my spiritual path.

Breathwork is nothing new. It’s been around for thousands of years as various forms of pranayama, or breathing techniques, have been used by the monks and yogis throughout history. Breathwork only became more popular in the west during the 1960s and 70s with the counterculture movement and the development of something called holotropic breathwork.

Holotropic Breathwork is a type of pranayama breathing technique developed in the 1970s by Dr. Stanislov Grof, a pioneer in the field of psychedelic research for psychotherapeutic use. Dr. Stan Grof developed holotropic breathwork in order to achieve similar psychotherapeutic benefits that he was witnessing with his patients through using plant medicines, but without the use of psychedelics. Dr. Stan Grof began witnessing powerful results through using the holotropic breathing technique with patients.

In this video, I meet with Michael Stone, a certified breathwork facilitator who trained with Stan Grof in holotropic breathwork. Michael Stone then created something called neurodynamic breathwork online as a way for people all over the world to be able to access this modality.

Can Trippy Breathwork be helpful in treating anxiety and other overwhelming emotions?

As humans, we experience different emotions that we encounter from time to time. This is a natural part of our existence, but at times, we may find ourselves feeling overwhelmed and struggling to find ways to combat this feeling. There are several ways to deal with overwhelming emotions, ranging from yoga to meditation, but one unconventional method has been gaining momentum lately: trippy breathwork.

Trippy Breathwork, also called Shamanic Breathwork, is a type of breathing exercise that is believed to provide mental, physical, and emotional healing. This technique involves rapid and deep breathing patterns that create an altered state of consciousness. This state is designed to help individuals connect with their inner selves and work towards emotional release.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I decided to give the Trippy Breathwork technique a try. I was curious about the claims and wanted to see if the technique could alleviate some of my symptoms. After some research, I found a reputable practitioner who helped me through the process. I settled comfortably on a mat, closed my eyes, and started to follow the breathing pattern.

The experience was intense. Initially, I found the exercise challenging to follow, but as time progressed, I became more relaxed and in tune with my body. I started to feel a tingling sensation all over, and my body felt lighter as I breathed deeply. I was anxious and did not know what to expect, but the practitioner’s soothing voice helped calm me down.

As the session progressed, I noticed positive changes in my mood. I felt my anxiety dissipating, and a sense of calmness washed over me. It was such a relief to have the intense emotions subdued, as it had been weighing on me for weeks. I finished the session feeling more energized and more ready to face life’s challenges.

Trippy Breathwork is not a substitute for medication or therapy, but it can help individuals find mental and emotional balance. The altered state of consciousness allows negative emotions to flow out, leaving individuals feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It’s not an easy process, but the experience can be worth it.

In conclusion, I found my experience with Trippy Breathwork to be positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for relief from anxiety or other overwhelming emotions. I believe that this technique can help individuals find inner peace, and it’s something people should try at least once. However, it’s always essential to work with a reputable practitioner to ensure that you have a positive experience. If you’re looking for alternative methods to combat anxiety or other overwhelming emotions, Trippy Breathwork may be worth exploring.
