However, after doing some research, she learned that this was a common side effect of the keto diet known as “ketosis breath.”

As days went by, Sarah’s situation worsened. She started experiencing nausea and constipation, both common side effects of the low-carb diet. She also noticed that her hair was falling out in clumps, a rare but well-documented consequence of the diet.

At this point, Sarah knew something was wrong. She visited her doctor, who confirmed that all of her symptoms were related to the keto diet. In fact, many doctors caution against going on a keto diet without proper guidance or supervision, as it can cause more harm than good in some situations.
