Among these is the Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, also known as ASMR. ASMR is a method that focuses on provoking a tingling sensation, often described as a calming feeling that can lead to relaxation and better sleep.

ASMR techniques involve auditory and visual stimuli that are designed to evoke a positive response in the viewer. These stimuli can include whispers, soft whispers, tapping, scratching, and other sounds. The viewer listens to these sounds by using headphones or speakers, which ensures they are fully absorbed in the experience.

ASMR has been used as a method to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. As viewers listen to soft whispers and watch calming visuals, their minds can become less focused on negative thoughts and more receptive to a relaxed state of mind. This state of mind can lead to better sleep and, moreover, may reduce the symptoms of anxiety.
